RedaretheRoses

I am fancying the jewelry at RedaretheRoses' Etsy Shop. Everything is so happy & nostalgic of a different era.

Gypsy

{Gypsy}

This pretty little girl became the newest member of our family this past Friday. She's sooooo funny & adorable! Even Luca, our almost-2-year-old cat, is taking to her pretty well. I'm really proud of him. There's nothing like having a kitten around!

Library Staircase

This was posted on Apartment Therapy a couple months ago, but I think about it all the time. It is, hands down, one of the most amazing things I've ever seen. I'd feel so special if I had this in my home.

Paper Flower Garlands

I want to throw an outdoor party soon just so I can decorate with these garlands made from colored paper bags, as seen on Martha.

Treasures from Tampa

This past weekend in Tampa, all of us girls made some killer shopping finds. A few of my own favorites include {clockwise from top left}: Vintage Bird Cage Art found at secondhand store, Teal Vintage-Inspired Pumps from BITTEN by Sarah Jessica Parker {only $8.98!}, Summery Woven Purse from Bali Bay Trading Company, and Spoon Rest made in Spain also found at secondhand store.

Humility

Ha ha, I came across these dangly innuendos on idridden's etsy shop and oh, they amuse me so! Too bad it wouldn't be very humble to give them to someone would it?

Am off to Tampa this weekend with Rachel and Hilary to visit our friend Sarah, and meet up with our friend Ali, too! Happy weekend!

Vintage Paper Mache Bowls

They have been finding me lately. The first two I scored for a steal about a month ago at an Estate Sale and were made in England. The third one I found this past weekend at The Other Side in Tallahassee, for a comparable steal, and is from Japan. The debut set is living on my living room bookshelf, amongst pretty hardback books. The newest one will hold my chunky beaded necklaces. I am in love with them.
